Before you decide to attend a tradeshow you should review and answer these questions:

  1. What is the number one reason for attending? How does this tradeshow fit into your long term marketing strategy?
  2. Who are your key prospects that will be attending this show and what have you done to make sure they know you are exhibiting?
  3. What are the best type of invitations, brochures and promotional items for this event?
  4. How will you measure the success of this show?  Will it be by increased sales with existing customers, increased number of new contacts made or perhaps just increased industry profile?
  5. What is your post show strategy for contacting contacts and who will be monitoring the results?
  6. Who are your main competitors at this show and what will they be doing to steal away your customers?
