Month / Year started: I began working with Bullfrog Power in January 2009

What type of clients you service? All types of businesses. In fact, currently, more than 1,000 organizations (including large, medium and small-sized businesses, as well as organizations from various sectors) across Canada are bullfrogpowered. Our customers include larger companies such as Walmart Canada, Cadbury and TD Bank Financial Group – as well as small medium-sized organizations like Urban Barn, Saul Good Gift Co. and Coastal Ford, located right here in B.C.

Your ideal client? I am happy to work with any business or organization looking for meaningful ways to help the environment and support the generation of clean, renewable power in Canada. Most of our clients are at some stage in the process of trying to reduce their environmental impact and they choose Bullfrog Power as one of other practical environmental initiatives they’re implementing.

Why should someone do business with you and your business? In B.C., Bullfrog Power sources 100% wind power from the Bear Mountain Wind Park, the first fully operational wind project in the province. So when homes and businesses in B.C. sign on for Bullfrog Power, they are choosing 100% local wind power, reducing their environmental impact, and supporting our province’s growing renewable power industry. Bullfrog's electricity comes exclusively from facilities that have been certified by Environment Canada under its EcoLogoM program. Audited on an annual basis by an independent third party, Bullfrog Power is also supported by more than 40 leading Canadian environmental groups.

Why should someone do business with me? I am personally passionate about helping businesses along the path to sustainability, whether they are just starting out or already have an environmental program in place. I’m also very proud to work with Bullfrog Power—Canada’s 100% green electricity provider.

Your biggest client success story: A memorable client success story for me involves Novex Delivery Solutions, a courier in the Lower Mainland of B.C. In July 2009, Novex signed on its Richmond office for green electricity with Bullfrog Power. The organization was really able to engage its employees through the decision; I could see how proud the employees were to be supporting locally produced renewable electricity. Adding Bullfrog Power into its mix of existing initiatives took Novex’s environmental stewardship to the next level.

Any tips or advice to business owners and professionals to grow their business? Environmental initiatives, such as choosing green electricity with Bullfrog Power, can not only help you reduce your environmental impact and take action on the environment, they can also help you grow your business by engaging like-minded customers, suppliers and communities—and attracting and retaining top talent.

Bullfrog’s green power offering includes communications activities designed to highlight your commitment to green power among your various stakeholders. Many organizations have found that implementing these services has strengthened their brand reputation and business opportunities.
